The cicadas emerging this year last visited us 17 years ago. What kind of change have you seen in your city, yourself, or someone you know over the last 17 years?

There were several transformative experiences for me In the last 17 years. Most borne out of great crises. Some of the great crises of the last 17 years were collective and some were just my own. All of the crises forced me to find new resources and learn new things about the world and myself. Thus expanding my life exponentially. One example is, during the 2020 COVID pandemic lockdown, I had to close my business temporarily forcing me to fall back on art. Art is a way to deep personal discovery and another form of therapy.
